Default bride seats and airbags

Had a search ...

installed bride seats, took ' plug' out underneath; I believe this stops the airbags from working. Is there any way round this?

For the '06 up, you need to unbolt the seat position sensor from the stock seat and leave it connected. You also need to leave the seat belt buckle wires connected.
