Mine's flaking off. Looks like probably heat damage from the sun. It's flaking around the same area plus around the shift boot.

me too, was thinking of painting it but i dont know what color looks good.

 

I popped my old one off and sprayed it with texturized black trim paint. It looked great until that started chipping off too. Lol

 

are these panel in direct sunlight all day? you guys have me worried now

 

For lack of a garage, my car sits in the driveway in the hot Florida sun. I haven't noticed anything yet. I do have a moderate tint all around with a hardtop that seldom comes off. I suggest that everyone get a tint if you haven't done this already.
