Angry Fixing a dash crack

I have an 01 that has always been garaged. Today I found a very small (maybe 1/4 inch) crack in the dash. Looking for suggestions on how to keep it from getting larger or how to repair it now. Thanks.

Need more information, Dash or instrument panel? -- many folks call the instrument panel the dash. Hard or soft material? Cracks in hard surfaces can often be stopped by drilling a small hole at the closed end of the crack.

There’s probably someone that has been through this, I have not. While waiting for others to reply, I would visit an upholstery shop and a dealer to see what they recommend. Also, there are vinyl repair kits online, however I wouldn’t know which one to use.

Best to you and please let us know what you find out.

It's just to the right of the passenger side airbag, on top of the dash.

A good vinyl / leather / fabric repair specialist should be able to take care of this for you. We had a company called Fibrenew that would come to the dealership and fix considerably worst blemishes than yours effectively.
