Here is some pics of my universal brodit/proclip universal mount with my galaxy nexus with tpu case. Works very well and is very solid. Cheers

I had a custim bracket setup similar to that (360* rotation ability as well), but got tired of having my giant evo 3d hanging off the dash after a while. It was boss for watching youtube and referencing pandora though. Just gets old after a while.

Doesn't get old for me. I use GPS nav apps, Pandora, etc all the time. I'd have to no longer find the apps useful for it to get old. If you're doing it just for cool factor it can certainly get old.
