Default Modifry dash mount

hey guys, just curious if any of you here in southern Ontario are using the modifry dash mount? If so, I have heard something about a gap, visible from the passenger side... is this a result of the portion of dash you have to trim, or something else?
if you were to remove the modifry bracket does the dash fit back together without a sign of modification?

Trying to not make any permanent changes to things like the dash, it am getting frustrated with using a magnetic vent mount for phone...

If anyone has the bracket are you able to provide a pic of this “gap” I am hearing about?

thanks guys!

you got it. if the mount gets removed the gap is gone. like it never happened. although you wont even think about the gap when its all said and done.
if you are using this for your phone may I reccomend you purchase the gamin ball mount from modifry and then this from amazon.
Amazon Amazon
this is one of the only solutions i found where the charging cord wont get in the way form your shifting.

I second this. I had a different mount but switched to this one at Darren's reco and haven't looked back. It's definitely stable enough to use on autox and the track.

I have the mount too - there's a teeny little gap but it's not noticeable from the driver's view.

You can see it in the in-car view of me at Ontario Time Attack here:
