I really wanted to stay away from the sandwich plates as Ive read sooo many leaking stories and that they are pain to take the filter off. Might just have to try it to avoid tapping into the oil pan.

***Update*** last for the year, until I can spend the coin on the gauges.

I got my gauge mounts in from speedhut and mounted them up, and installed in the car today. I think it came out pretty good.

They are not aligned perfectly, that was hard to do but it turned out okay.

I have gauges mounted to the Passenger side knee panel.....


and i do NOT recommend it. it's impossible to look at the gauges and keep your eyes on the road. they are not easy to check. i also took about 3 inches of every passengers' knee room. it gets hit, often. i highly recommend you mount them at an angle. it greatly help visibility.

i do think it looks pretty good and a little more low key than gauge pillars or dash mount. but all that being said, i'll be redoing mine eventually and moving them to the right side of the HVAC controls. let me see if i can find some pictures.

I'll be working on an air fuel ratio meter to install on the passenger side shortly, I hope I can make it fit somewhere.

There are a few spots you can fit it in. I Personally like the way I am going with mine. Still have yet to order my gauges....

I am waiting until I get my bonus in June.

Your mount looks good. My gauge pod is coming in tomorrow I'll have a better idea once I get it in my hands. I'm hoping to keep it closer to the lower side near the center console by the side bolster.
