Gauges installed under passenger dash
#31
I got my gauge pod installed loosely. I'm putting it on the top portion of the passenger side knee support, on the right side of the radio console. I already have a secondary 12 volt accessory plug in there so putting new holes in that location is not a big deal. I'm using an autometer single pod , it comes with a cup , I may or may not use the cup part of it, depending on how it looks once installed. I think it will work fine and I can angle it towards the driver as needed, nice and sturdy too. I need to black out the silver screws though.

Looks great man! What's that steering wheel?
I ordered all of my gauges last week. 2 week build time on them, custom gauges from Speedhut. Love their stuff. I still have to wait on a few more things to show up before I can finish my install. I ordered a braided hose like on the first page so I am not plugged directly into the block. Also have to get the AEM wideband and inline controller and get the HFC taken out and bung welded in.
Probably be another month before its all done.

I got a newly covered OEM steering wheel from Guarding Designs, it's an awesome upgrade, you can see my thread on this upgrade at the link below:

Yeah New steering wheels are an expensive modification, this is my second one. I will only touch the wheel if it continues to use the factory airbag, I won't do aftermarket wheels with no air bag protection. In the market of oem wheel modifcations Guardian has the best price out there, you get an entirely new steering wheel so you don't have to alter your factory wheel, no core charge or shipping cost to ship your wheel to them. You can keep your factory wheel which is a big plus IMO. Nonetheless wheels are expensive any way you cut it, but it is probably my favourite mod which you appreciate every time you get into the car. I find myself wanting to drive the car more just to feel how nice the new wheel feels in my paws
