Can anyone tell me how to change it? I can't work out how to get it off.

Im not sure what that is but I am guessing you mean the shifter boot?

You need to remove the middle console. The boot is fastened directly to that. Pretty sure all you need to do is pop the console out and remove the shift knob to get it free.
