I would like to know if the newer panel around gear shifter and parking brake fit the MY2000? Got carpet up there and looks bad.

Also, is there different HU covers? If yes, does t fit the M2000?

Looking for a way to make it more modern inside.

I'm pretty sure the AP2 console and radio door can be changed out to fit an AP1, lots of people have done it on here.

 

^^Yep, you can make the whole ap2 console fit the AP1 and change the carpet cover out for a leather one. You can put any year radio door into any year s2000. I have an AP2 radio door in my AP1.

Speaking of which, I just ordered a console cover from JPMcoachworks. Do I need to remove the carpet one first or does it just go on top of the carpet one?

 

yeah.. all the interior parts are interchangable.. except carpet and passenger seat from the 06+ models. ive done full interior replacements on cars here on the board

So anything from MY00-MY05 is interchangeable then? I'm considering doing a suzuka swap with mine before I paint the car BB.
