This plastic part has been in the trunk of my '06 S2000 since I bought it 2 months ago. Darned if I can figure out what it is. Is it even a S2000 part?

Finish ls like the interior plastic and the large slot is the width of a seatbelt. Looks like it broke off something. I can't find any missing -- or matching -- at least I don't think it's structural!

Anyone recognize this:





Any clues appreciated!

I think that goes on the front of the seat rail- either the left or right rail. It should cover the front edge and the bolt, but i may be wrong.

Did a quick search to confirm, appears to go on the passenger seat's left rail, part #8

 

^^ he's right it is. It covers the bolt holes for the seats.

 

Thanks, that it indeed the part. Only problem is there's already a cover on the right side, but not on the left. Guess I need to order the left cover. Piddling little part, but I'm trying to keep my S2000 as stock as possible.

Edit: Is there a cover on the left side? The corresponding diagram to the one linked above doesn't show a cover on the left side.

Ummm, I don't see a right front inner cover on the car. I need to find another parts diagram to confirm if I'm missing 1, 2, of 3 of these covers!
