Default Ordering new soft top - Best option

So I currently have an AP1 with a worn out soft top that I'd like to replace with a glass window just wondering my best option. I have a spare AP2 softop with the entire frame, motors, glass window, and rear defogger but it also has holes in it. Would I be better off swapping in the entire AP2 frame and ordering a new AP2 top or is the AP1 glass window conversion I see around comparable to an oem glass window?

I just did the top on my MY2000 AP1. I went with a robbins top with the non heated glass. the top fits perfect and looks great. I doubt I would go through the hassle of replacing the frame and motors of an AP2

Are you installing this by yourself? Where did you order your top?

Many pieces to that puzzle, read all you can before and during the installation. Not hard but it is detail oriented, good luck.
