I have searched all over the inter webs. I see that '06+ seats fit into prior years, with the proper seat rails swapped over.

Has anyone done the reverse- put pre '06 into '06+. I'm okey with switching seat rails, but how about keeping the dual stage airbags functional and the weight sensors functional for the passenger airbag. Are the sensor electronics integrated into the seat bottom and not transferable?

I'd love some advice or whether this is even possible/practical. I just have a line on some '03 Suzuka seats with low miles for a good price. Plus, I want the extra passenger seat rake.

I almost did this. From the research I did you have to use your '06 rails with the pre 06 seats as such all the electronics should stay where they're at.
