Default Radio door sticking

Anybody else suffering from radio door sticking agaist the frame, even when removed from the vehicle?

For some reason, a couple of years ago the door started touching the vent housing, I marked the place yellow:

Having removed the whole assembly, I noticed the door space just isn't a rectangle anymore:

How could it happen?

Currently I'm trying to alleviate the issue by slowly baking the door in an oven at 140°F/60°C with a wooden block spreading the opening. This should be cool enough not to damage the plastic.

I'll report back in some months if it helps on a long term.

hope that works.

The doors will be sticky sometimes when the entire piece is out of the vehicle. When it is installed in the car the clips help to bend the frame in opposite directions so that the door won't stick. Make sure it is pushed securely in place and all of the clips are functional and not broken. If the clips are broken then it won't be stretched out properly and the door can stick.

Hello, I have just started to have this problem. Did your solution work by baking it in the oven?
