Default Removing seat padding to lower

So at 6'1.5" 215lbs I really want to get lower in the car. I have a 2006 model and I have already installed BYS rails. They helped some but I really want to get lower. I'd also prefer the front to be angled up a bit more too. I've read older write ups that involved beating in the pan in order to mount the rails lower but I'd rather not do that. I'm thinking of removing the foam pad and cutting it an inch lower in the rear, angling up to a 1/2" lower in the front, if I can even cut it that accurately. I'm a bit worried this will put the lumbar support up too high.

Has anyone else done this? Any other Ideas? I'd love to get another inch lower and I don't really want to go after market.

Thanks

Jon
