Default Second Skin

Hey just wondering if anyone had used second skin on their car? How were the results and did the carpet and all the other trim pieces go right back in or did the second skin make it too thick?

I put some luxury liner pro in my car a couple months back. Ordered two mats during a free shipping sale. Like everyone else, I didn't really want to add weight to the car but I wanted to remove much of the 'tinny' sound. Fitment wasn't an issue as it's pretty thin, but it has some weight to it.

Definitely did the job! Don't expect a huge huge difference since you'll then focus on all the other rattles; with the two floors it was probably right around 10lbs. I'm happy about my choice since it makes the car feel a lot more solid, audio I invested in is much more enjoyable, and heat from the floor won't seep through this summer (and the rest of the life of the car)

Below are a few photos, I recommend just cutting smaller rectangular pieces that fit only on the floor, don't curve up around the edges. I cut much of it out after these pictures were taken. If you try to cover too much, the carpet won't sit right - I learned this after doing the passenger side first, driver side went a lot quicker. You can also remove the stock deadening to help with the fitment, it won't add much deadening anyway.

I learn much about deadening cars from www.soundeadenershowdown.com - Very very helpful site for audiophiles.
