Of course since I'm only 18 I'm one of those pot smoking teenagers they always make fun of on TV, but those people can kiss my ass. Yeah the secret compartment is a ass saver. I've had my car searched bout 5 times since I've owned it and have up to a half pound of marijuana in that compartment and not one cop has found the compartment yet. Oh yeah and it took me the same day I bought the car to find it, b/c I had no clue how to pop the gas tank and then I couldnt find my owners manual and out of no where heres this compartment with it. Very convient comparment.

 

That's what I was saying. It's secretive, so don't let the whole world know. As long as S owners know about it, there's no need to let the whole world know.

 

But many S owners don't know about it. Hence, this thread. And again, I don't think posting info on s2ki.com is letting the "whole world know", but rather letting owners, soon-to-be owners, and fans know. In particular, I very much doubt that this thread will do anything to spread the word to police.

Dont feel too bad. The manager of my local super market didnt know about his for over 2 years. He then only found out about it when I was showing him where I had my cd changer installed on my 04.

 

I can't believe I've never seen this thread before - it is like finding the secret compartment for the first time

Back when I was selling Hondas on a regular basis one of my favorite things to do was point the secret compartment out to customers - there is no better facial expression than when someone discovers this thing

Another great thing to point out is pulling the spare tire hardware out of the foam container in the trunk, wrapping it all in a towel, and dropping it inside the spare tire - people love how much trunk room that creates

Someone also mentioned the Super Secret Compartment just left of the spare tire

 

It's so nice to know you are not alone. 1year of drivin, sold the car and still didn't know. I wonder what was in it now?!
My current S's mystery compartment was solved in a second when the used car dealer flipped it upwards and open! wow, it was like leaning on a book in Bruce Wayne's library and the door to bat cave opened!
Did make me feel about the old car, though reading this thread i don't feel so bad.

ps. gotta admit, in terms of storage it's most welcome, but in terms of accessibility its a biotch, I have my chiropractor to vouch for that!
