The SECRET COMPARTMENT really DOES exist!

I'm with Wing, the first time I sat in my car, I just started opening holes upon holes, then i was like, man thats a tiny ass glove compartment. THEN.... as I glanced my eyes into the heavily heated sun, I held my hand to block it, and right below my pinky I saw it. Just the smallest of small nubs stuck out enough for me to see. So being as curious as I am, I thought, my God, there it is! I slowly reached towards the small crack, not knowing what might be lurking on the other side or this mysterious slit. I slid my hand up its smooth, dark complected liner, and pulled. An allmighty gust of graciousness swept through my hair as many multicolored lights shot out into the heavens as I realized, and I, Tom, in that second of time, on March 25, 2004, around 8:30p.m., found the God-Loving Secret Compartment.

all this time I thought the haphazzard mentioning of this in various threads was some kind of inside joke playing on the fact that there was so little storage in the damn car.
You know I actually thought the net on the passenger side was for anything too big or cumbersome to fit in the joke of a glove box they supplied.
thank you guys for finally giving me a ray hope in an otherwise dark world

The manager of the supermarket we shop bought an 01 because he loved my 00. I recently bought an 04 and was showing it to him and popped the secret compartment to show him my 8-disc Cd changer. He almost shit himself in disbelief and I almost did the same when I realized he has had this car over 3 years and didnt know it existed.

ROFL...

This has got to be one of the best all time 'secret compartment' threads I've read on this board. Thanks for brightening up my day.

I always appreciate when my ignorance brings joy to others!
