it is quite inconspicuous, found it after about a week when someone on the board asked me if I'd found it yet. I had a harder time finding how to open the gas lid

 

Funny because ive had the S for six months and my fiance was thru the middle compartment and just opened it up out of know where. I got pretty excited im not going to lie.

lol^ open your compartment that has the trunk popper in it. then feel along the underside of where the windscreen is mounted and push in the button and open. the entire windscreen lid will flip back and reveal a tray and big-ass cubby.

you're in luck! after reading your post I figured I'd go outside and snap these photos... first shot is the glovebox as it is in the car, second is with the glove box open... and last is the secret compartment.

few weeks ago got a call from a buddy - he bought S2000.
so i went to see him and have a shirt ride with him.
i position myself at the passenger seat and see it's too much forward - so i try to take it more back.
"be careful, there is some stuff stored behind the seat" he says
"the glove box is so small.........."
i say "which glovebox do you mean? do you use the big one?"
"what big one? i use the usual glovebox and it's quite small" he says.

i'm starting to understand that he probably still didn't discover the secret compartment
