Default Smudges / Blemishes on Dashboard

So I noticed that I have some smudges on my dash on the left corner, only product I've used is Armor All Protectant. It states that it is grease free, but I'm assuming that these blemishes were caused by it. I really need to get this off because it's starting to become an eye sore because I see it while I'm driving... Any product solutions would be great, anything I can get from pep boys or autozone... If I need to, I'll get it from DetailersDomain, thanks!

Armor All???

303 Aerospace vinyl protectant. You can get it online or at a marine hardware store. I get it at West Marine. If you search 303 here in the forums, you'll find many many happy users. Awesome for the soft top too.

First use a cleaner like Meguiar’s #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner.

Then follow up with a “quality” vinyl protectant.
I use RaggTopp Vinyl Convertible Protectant.
The stuff is great for the top and interior vinyl.

Please just stay away from Armor All.

I just got some 303 Aerospace Protectant and Cleaner from West Marine. I couldn't find the Meguair's 39 Heavy Vinyl cleaner, so will the 303 cleaner work just as well? I'm waiting to get my canopy before I do anything so, will wait for suggestions.

I have same issue started in one spot and spread all over the dash now. I used vynil cleaners, soap and water and even glass cleaner. no luck on getting them removed.

By treating the are with w/e cleaner or protectant oil looking spots reappear after about 24 to 48 hours.

It's so bad I was thinking of using alcohol mixture and if that ruines my dash do it up in alcantara since its so freaking bad.

Please help us.

BTW I used 1z products, and Meguiars only.

Try a 10:1 ratio of distilled water and Woolite. It's always removed these types of spots and other residue from my dash and door panels

Try some 1Z deep plastic cleaner, followed by 1Z cockpit premium or 303 aerospace protectant. The deep plastic cleaner works very well, and 303 was what I used on the dash of my S.

Good luck and keep us posted. If you order from DD, remember your forum discount code.

So I got some 303 products (cleaner and protectant) and tried them out today. I didn't want to use the protectant if I couldn't get the stain out, well I couldn't get any part of it out. It seems to be some kind of grease stain or something and I tried to agitate it with a brush.

Is there any place that I could take it to for taking care of this kind of situation? I really don't want to bear seeing the stain anymore and for some reason I've noticed it on my dash, in the plastic portion in front of my shifter, and on the bottom panel in front of the kick plates. So I'm gonna try and find someone to do it, if there is anyone on here that can do it or suggest someone; please let me know asap!
