Default Spoon Hatchback

So I hope this is the place to put this, if not mods redirect it considering im inquiring about the interior. So I was looking at a cusco roll cage install and it got me to thinking about making a s2000 hatchback. It showed the softtop removed, and that entire wall inbetween the cabin and trunk. I was wondering if you gutted the car, installed the spoon top and maybe fabricated some carpet if it would work like a 350z type hatchback.

Just something I've been pondering, any problems or concerns that would come from this?

When you remove the bulk head behind the seats you lose the seat belts and roll bars. You would need a good cage, 4 point harnesses, and seats that are designed for harnesses. I contemplated this myself as I had a cusco cage and removed all the interior trim behind the front seats.

Hmm interesting, so it would really be a semi race setup, but correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it recommended to have a cage with the spoon top?
