Water leakage on seibon cf hardtop
Hello everyone!
I just bought my first s2k so I'm a little new to the game.
I went to the car wash today to wash the shitty Ohio road grime off and water is leaking in around the window seal where the hard top meets the window. It only leaks in on the high pressure wash, spot free rinse is fine. Is this just a common problem with the hardtop or did the previous owner do a shit job of weatherstripping it? If so, I've never done any weatherstripping myself but any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Was this a drive-through car wash or the kind where you use a hand-held sprayer ?.
Every hardtop is going to leak under pressure, as does the oem softop. Never use high pressure around the windows and the softop or hardtop unless you want it to leak. Never take it to a drive-through car wash.
Now if it leaks during rain storms that is a different story, but you can expect them to leak under any kind of pressurized water spray. Even a household hose and nozzle can cause a leak if you get too close with high pressure.

It was a hand wash but yeah I must have got too close with the high pressure on...lesson learned lol. Thanks guys.
I haven't had the car long enough to drive it in the rain but if it leaks I'll check out the weatherstripping and update the thread with what I find.
Thanks again!

If you find it still leaks driving in the rain, you could try RV weather stripping. You could also try and contact rockstar garage as they sell weather stripping as well.
