Winn, I just got my car dialed in and will join you guys Sunday. Do you plan to do the same run we did in February? Around Lake Apopka? We could meet at West Oaks Mall off Clarke Rd. Let me know.

Cool, Im glad you will be able to make the run after all. We can do the Lake Apopka run along with some of the route Wei Shin lead us on. He sent me the route we drove in early July. There were some nice twisties on that one as well.
I was gonna go out and scout some new roads we didnt hit last time tomorrow afternoon. If you have time to go as well, give me a ring or hit me via email (wdavis@fullsail.com) at work tomorrow.

 

Let me know what's up for this weekend - I might be able to swing down. Maybe meet up w/ the Jax crew at the rest area right before (or after for you) of the I75 turn off from 10.

$225 bucks - and you get to run the infield and 1/2 the oval all day - as long as your sweaty little palms can hold out - that or your tires.

Chin is on the S2000 list - he also runs a NSX - which will be half the cars there.

OK guys, we'll meet at the McDonalds on West 50 in Ocoee at 10am on SUNDAY August 5! We can grab some coffee/soda, and have a quick meeting at McDs. Plus, there is a filling station nearby as well for everyone to fuel up before we drive.

Directions....

Orlando locals take E-W west until it merges into the Turnpike northbound. Get off at first exit (#267), follow Right ramps to Rt.50 eastbound. McDonalds is on the left about 400 yds. after you merge onto 50.

From Jax if you take 295 to 95 to I-4 East, then go west on the 408 Toll Road (East-West Expressway) until it merges into the Turnpike northbound. Get off at first exit (#267), follow right ramps to Rt.50 eastbound. McDonalds is on the left about 400 yds. after you merge onto 50.

From Sarasota, take 75N to I-4 East, then take the Florida turnpike Northnorthbound. Get off at first exit (#267), follow right ramps to Rt.50 eastbound. McDonalds is on the left about 400 yds. after you merge onto 50.

These directions are from Yahoo maps, so if you would like to see the distance between interstates and print them out for the drive, it may make life easier. The weather has been lame today so I didnt go out to explore more twistie roads in the area, but I will before Saturday night and give you more landmarks to look for on your way in from out of town.
