I'm hoping that the Japanese gang can take us to the local points of interest around the plant. I don't expect door-to-door service or round-the-clock entertainment from them. We're 2 months out with still much more to do.

Japan will undoubtedly come up at our meet here in two weeks. There will still be time to get good airfares at that point.

Hello, JGSS2K and everyone on board.

>I wonder what the Japanese word for "whirlwind" is?

The words are "sempuu" or "tatsumaki" in Japanese.

I hope you all will enjoy the trip to Japan.
See you!

Thanks Shin. Operation Tatsumaki it is! I hope we get a nice weekend to meet you all. I have our S2K Days Asheville group shot framed and ready to show the people at the factory. Feel free to e-mail me with ideas of how we might spend our time.

We have two Belgians on board for the tour as well. Now it's an international delegation.

OK...I have just confirmed that I am the biggest Ass!

I just called my new employer (who I don't start for until 5/21) to tell them that I will be in Japan from 6/13 thru 6/18.

I just landed a sweet deal on United from Dulles to Tokyo/Norita....$877.10!

While I have a non-stop to the Land of the rising sun, I have a 1.5hr layover at O'Hare on 18th (Come get me, Mr. Stevens).

Now to get the hotel squared away.

DUDE!
Welcome aboard the Orient Express!

Please refrain from showing your a$$ until the plane has come to a complete stop at the gate.

OK, I've taken care of accomodations now as well. For those interested in staying at the Tokyo Dome Hotel with us common folk, call 1-800-637-7200.

We're arriving 6/14 and leaving 6/18.

Tell them you want the Corporate Rate (16,000
