We need a headcount...Scott Z will work on a Mugen contact for us and MAYBE get in a little deeper into Mugen, which won't be very deep as they are very protective. But let's sound off if you are planning on going...we need to know ASAP...

During the weekend, there are several ideas we're kicking around, including attending a big car expo held near Nagoya Sunday, the 17th.

Both links have several pages. Be sure to hit the right arrow at the bottom.

OK, all...I think we finally have the flight arrangements squared away. As some of you know, a decision was recently made to return to the States on Tuesday, June 19th rather than the 18th. Here are the flights to and from Chicago that Sondra, Greg Stevens and myself are taking. There are seats available.

Wednesday, June 13
United, Flight 883
Leaves O'Hare (ORD) at 1:15pm CDT
Arrives Tokyo/Narita (NRT) at 4pm on Thursday

Tuesday, June 19
United, Flight 884
Leaves Tokyo/Narita (NRT) at 2:20pm
Arrives O'Hare (ORD) at 11:40am (Time machine.......)

Obviously, if you still wish to leave on Monday the 18th that's up to you. Some of us just thought it would be nicer to catch an extra day and spend less of our total time in the air.

I couldn't confirm flights for the whole trip, but I'm still hopeful something will turn out.

So.. What's the headcount?

What about Twin-ring Motegi? What are we doing there?

Any chances of visiting Spoon & Mugen?

Headcount so far:
John
Gregg
Sondra
Greg
Mark
Marc
David from Belgium and g/f (will meet us there)

Speed 2000?
svann?
Luis?
sturat?

Who am I forgetting?

Tochigi is the prefecture the Takanezawa facility is in.

Motegi is where the amusement side of the Friday event occurs. They have museums such as the Honda Collection and the Fan Fun lab. Please see my links up the topic.

Saturday is now up to our decisions.

Sunday is Car Expo day in near Nagoya. A link is posted just above. Tokaido Shinkansen from Tokyo and back.

Monday is open. Sleep, shop, take pictres, be a tourist.

Tuesday is fly back day.

Let's not count on Mugen. I'd hope not seeing Mugen wouldn't keep you from attending. If your last name is Zellner, you might have a chance.
