Upstate New York
Skip,
Ofcourse the 325i is not a safe winter driving tool. I have all season tires on them and have luckily survived 2 winters without killing myself. Rear wheel drive is so scary. Assuming the roads are clear, we should be good to go though. As for the chains and stuff... hehe.. I was only kiddin. =D
Triple-H,
That tow line is a good idea. You know a lot of tow shops make all their money for the year through a couple nights of sever weather. They just go out and tow more than 30 vehicles out of the snow each night, big bucks each time too.

I've been known to go out in huge snow storms with my tow line and perform random acts of kindness for $10 or $20 bucks. $10 is for just a pull, $20 is for me using the shovel also. It is amazing how happy people are to hand over cold cash (no pun intended) to get back up on the road, often their tip is as much as the pull! I love my truck!

Dimension54- welcome!
I'll go out on a limb here and speak for all the others, we are honored, the word Upstate was the cause of your first post!!!
You and Jimmy325 are in the same boat and I am sort of in there also. I have yet to park an S2000 in my driveway but mine is due in April after the snow is gone. Welcome.

Hey guys!
If you're keeping a list, count me in! I'm from the Cleveland area, but I'm a big fan of the Finger Lakes - my sister lives in Apalachin (near Binghamton), and my wife and I often go up for a visit, and spend a day at the wineries on Seneca Lake. We were just there about 3 weeks ago, and I was thinking about how great the roads are in that area, and wished I already had the S2k. I should have mine by spring (deposit already paid), and I'd love to join in!
