Thanks for the locations, but I must have a different (s2k) version of mapquest/ It reads out: 3.4 hours to Honeoye Falls and 2.6 hours to Beaver Dam

I have Narberth less than 10 miles Northwest of Philadelphia, is this wrong?
If you can go from Philly to Honeoye Falls in 3.4 hours I would simply ask what type of average speed you intend to achieve?

Mapquest had this to say for Honoeye Falls, NY - Narbeth, PA: Total Distance: 339.7 miles, ( 546.7 km), Total Estimated Time: 6 hours, 7 minutes. As you can see I made you go a bit faster but I'm thinking 100mph as an average speed is a bit out of question on public roads, especially out in the farm land type of country where I live. IMHO.

Yikes! This thread is WAY too serious

I was KIDDING and should have said

On the other hand, on my last trip from Narberth to Ithaca, I did have a lot of fun with a 3.2 CL-S that thought he could out-run the s2k on the last portion of the PA Trnpk

Does this mean that, for once, Ithaca is centrally located I've never been to Honoeye Falls, although I've seen an exit for it on I-90 (I think). AFAIC, a road trip to Honoeye Falls or even Beaver Dams (Eric, you did say that it now has paved roads, right?) would be just the relief needed for the winter blahs.

Ya know I never thought about it that way, but yes you are right Testut, Ithaca is in the center of everything Upstate.
A road trip to Honeoye Falls from Ithaca is best on 96A and 5&20, this is a common Nighthawk trip for me, and I just love flying through the countryside on my hawk. My grandparents lived in Ithaca when I was growing up so I've made the trip lots and lots of times. If the winter blues starts getting to you maybe a convergence in Ithaca or Honeoye falls could be good, or maybe better yet a gathering at the Rongovian Embassy in Trumansburgh!

A 3.2 CL-S trying to out-run a s2k. paS2K, I trust you made it clear who had the superior go power!

So what do you all think? Will we hear back from s2ki anytime soon about our desire to create a new region? I sure hope they swing in our favor!

Jimmy325 - have you been buried with schoolbooks??? Good luck on you exams!!!

I agree, HHH! This time of year is quite busy, witness poor Jimmy over on East Hill, but next month and the month after time moves slowly here in the Finger Lakes. Let's hope s2ki makes their decision soon...

We got the Delaware Valley forum set up in about a week. You might want to PM the famous Charlie, our moderator (Mr.Pockets fame) and find out what he needed to do. I believe the s2ki charter/ by-laws thingy (available somewhere on this site) requires a minimum of 5 (members?) (owners?) to set up a new forum, and preferably 10. BTW, a neat name could be the Finger Lakes Region club (we won't say which finger ) Good luck on getting set up.

As I live in Ithaca, a look at the map answers that question...

If all we need is 5 owners, we have that now, but if 10 are needed then we may be close not yet there. Onward through the snow...

Hihi Doug,

Yeah, now finals coming up next week. Did you see my post above? You asked if I disappeared... hehe. And, I asked what you thought of the new M3.

Nice weather today, I think I'm going to the golf range to hit some balls.

Jimmy
