Default 04/05 seats in 06+

Do you guys think it's possible to put 04/05 seats into an 06+. I prefer the look of the 04/05 seats and I think the leather holds up a bit better over time too. I realize you probably have to use the existing seat rail but is the rest the same in that you could swap the cushion and seat back over? I can't say that I've seen anyone try this.

You have to change rails and you will lose your weight sensor which will make your airbags not work or you will have to add a resistor to trick the car.

Just use the ap2 rails on the ap1 seat. Very straight forward. Just move the weight sensor from the old seat to the new one. I think it has to be programmed if u use a new one

Actually Steve, the 06/07 leather seems to hold up MUCH better. The grain of the leather seems thicker and more durable. This is from my experience with my old AP1, and my current 06.

hmm. Maybe more big people are getting 06+ then? I don't know if it's the pictures or what but it seems like I see 06+ seats that look more worn out at lower mileage than some of the older ones.
