06+ TP w/Check engine light
I've got a 70mm Invidia test pipe. I've tried just about everything short of switching out for a HFC (which will be my next option). I don't think the actual test pipe brand will make a difference being that they are all very similar. I've tried: Invidia cel fix with test pipe, 1 folwer, 1 folwer drilled out, 2 fowlers, 2 folwers with steal wool between them. The best result came from the 2 fowlers with the steal wool. The first time I tried it I got about 3000 miles before the cell came on. It would then go on and off every couple hundred miles. Since then I have taken it apart and repacked the steal wool. Cell came back on after 50 miles. Who ever said they think temperature and humidity plays a part, I completely agree. I went all summer without any problem but as soon as the temp dropped the cell came back on.
AP1 Owner here! LOL. I just installed an Invidia TP with the 2 anti-fouler trick last weekend and so far no CEL. I have only ran it for about 40 miles though so I'll check back in. By the way, this morning while I was warming up my car I noticed a rattle sound coming from the TP. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I need to re torque my bolts...

[QUOTE=clzay,Oct 19 2008, 06:20 PM] I have an 06 with a test pipe with two foulers and got a cell after a few hundred miles. So I stuck a little steel wool between the to foulers and... almost a thousand miles later and NO CELL! I hope the steel wool doesn't burn or blow out! Knock on wood
Steel Wool? How long do you expect that to last? Take Steel Wool, place it on the ground, and light it with a match. Tell me how fast it burns up.
If you want the TRUE CEL fix for 06+ then send me a PM. There is a guy down here that has it running in 3 06+ and they have no CEL from the TP at all. I can talk to him and maybe I can "sell you" mine and just buy another one from him.

Blox from inlinefour, 2 anti-fouler from autozone and some steel wool did the trick!
