Found this on here when searching for oem shift knob weights
OEM AP1:175 grams
OEM Ti: 284 grams
OEM AP2 :I would say ~250g since it weighs only slightly less than OEM Ti
Moddiction stainless 460+ grams
Moddiction Titanium 280+ grams
this is GREAT info. do you know what Voodoo Ti knob weighs?
imo, heaviest is not always better, while OEM is too light, i've found the Voodoo Ti to be the ideal weight in my hands (not to mention feel). steel is just a bit 'too' heavy and you also don't get the nice feel that your hand will be in contact with for the entire time you are with your car
^^I agree. I love my Voodoo. My only preference over Moddiction's is the lip on the bottom instead of a sphere. I hold that between my fingers when I shift....but considering the $200ish tag on the voodoo, Moddiction can't be beat.

The heavier the better.
I went from a Voodoo Magnum Titanium to a Moddiction 1lb+ Brushed Stainless. It's chalk and cheese.
I always thought the Voodoo Magnum Titanium was the best until Moddiction came along.
Here are some pics of a couple things I have been messing around with the titanium shift knobs. I polished one up and also had one anodized a purply blue color. Both came out looking pretty nice!!
I hope to but will depend on me being able to get nice burn on them that looks good or not. I would maybe have to get a different torch or do more research on how to burn it and all.
I know burnt is a very sought after look so I will do my best to get that but anodized is a much simpler method of getting a slightly similar look and easy to do without much variation.
