I have the CR shift knob with red stitching numbers from the JDM FD2 in my AP2. I don't like the feel of the knob too. But I will keep it because he knob looks nice and the red stitching matches really well with my red/black interior. I wouldn't get the yellow stitching CR knob tho.

i have the spoon titanium knob. it is definitely one of the lightest knobs available, if you don't like light knobs you won't like this.

i actually like having a lighter shift knob. i do get notchier shifting, but it's fine after the car has warmed up. different strokes for different folks. the main reason i got this knob was because of the looks and how it fits my hand perfectly.

I'm also a light knob guy (I switch now & then between a Voodoo magnum & Mugen dildo). Logically you should be able to shift faster (lower inertia) & it only gets notchy if I shift sloppy. I think a heavy knob is like too much power steering, not enough feedback.

I looking to try the Civic Si knob, which looks just like the CR knob but with a red shift pattern.

It looks decent~ I'd much rather get an ARC knob.

I added the prices from handa-accessories.com

Stock AP2 knob
8.4 oz in weight
60 mm from bottom of nut to top of knob
29 mm depth of screw hole
$112.80 (titanium)

CR shift knob
4.9 oz in weight
47 mm from bottom of nut to top of knob
31 mm depth of screw hole
$47.31
Wow thanks. I have wondered about this, as a Spa owner it would look great in my S.

I now have the Muz polished aluminum knob and like it a lot, good size, nice weight, deep countersunk hole, and the perfect set screw so the positioning can be set perfect.

I can see from that pic Honda is still using the nut at the bottom to secure the knob in the right position, therefore although this looks very nice, it is not going to be as low as my Muz, and to me one o fthe greatest features of knobs like the Muz is the effective creation of a shorter throw for the shift.

You just saved me $48 + shipping
