There is a link to the piece of plastic that's missing.

The current tires are nearly new (+/-15k miles) Toyo Proexs 4. I prefer Bridgestone, But no reason to get rid of these, especially with winter coming up. I'm in SE Georgia, so no snow or ice, but still near freezing temps from time to time.
looks like someone took a sawzall to the secret compartment.. maybe they locked it and lost the keys and really needed back in? weird hardtop fitment issues? either way you should get the lid replaced because it looks poopy

What's the only thing actually in contact with the road?

Get those.

Then suspension.

There's the 2,500 spent.

4.77 gears are a terrible idea for an AP2.

So, end of the week got crazy on me, sorry for the lack of replies.

I appreciate all the responses. I think I'm going to stick with a few small fixes, and give it some time to grow on me.

Good idea. Find out what you like to do with the car first. The car is tons of fun stock. Start modding it in ways that improve your experience with the car. Don't jump into mods too quickly or you may regret some of the choices. In fact, there is a whole thread on here dedicated to mods that owners have done and turned out to hate them completely

If the goal is for your car to accelerate faster and have more power then all non for he'd induction mods are a waist of time, money and heartache.
