Default 4.99 Final Drive

Hi,

did some searches but seems like there is a ton of information on the 4.44 and 4.77 ratios. However, there are no hits for 4.9 FD ratio.

anyone installed and has some comments on this setup for an AP1?

am trying to decide between the 4.7 and the 4.9.

thanks.

i had the 4.77s they are great for stop light to stop light, the 4.99 would be tooooo aggressive thats probably why you dont.

4.9 is 4k rpm
4.77 is 3.8krpm.

doesnt seem like a lot of difference...

NO on your 4.9 idea. 4.77 is agressive to begin with. you will be in vtec or in and out of vtec constantly at freeway speeds i would think,
