Cool man, as long as it works for you, thats great.
I actually have a JVT header on my s2k, and its pretty much an ebay one. If you search s2000 JVT in the search on Ebay you can find them. They are around the $200 mark which isnt bad for what it is. It has decent welds on everything, and it hasnt cracked or anything and it has around 7k miles on it right now. A guy actually dyno'ed his years back and made a 4whp gain with just the header, which was impressive for a $200 header. I wish I could find that thread again.
Here are the specs of the JVT:
Mounting Flange (Engine Side): 44x50mm oval
Primaries: 45mm ID / 48mm OD
Secondaries: 54mm ID / 57mm OD
Collector: 61mm ID / 63.5mm OD
Weight: 11.8#
Material thickness: .05" (polished in the area the measurement was taken

I will weigh it if i remove it to dyno, which i might do and while its off i will try and cut off that extra piece inside the final 2.5 collector to make it more smooth.

I didn't even think about weighing mine, but I couldnt believe how heavy the OEM manifold is compared to my new one. I know it's probably at least 5lbs lighter than the OEM one.
Also I heard if you clean up your header with rubbing alcohol, the coloring will be more even when it heats up. My header is all the pretty colors and just random in spots, but it looks cool imo. They say if you rub it down with alcohol though, it will all almost be the same color.

I really do think nice and cheap header for S2k is PLM header (I read that you can get it for around 350? some around there?) or just run OEM. Don't get me wrong, i'm not JDM guys.
But looking at compare pictures with OEM header, i don't even know if this will flow smooth as OEM one. But i'm sure it will work...it's looks good for 80 bucks header tho.
