Default ACT clutch

So I have to start looking for clutches and i would like to get one that fits my purpose. I am going to be getting a CTSC with a 7-8lb pulley. And i am looking to put about 380whp out. So obvioulsy OEM is not the best route for this. I am on the ACT Clutch site right now but i am not sure which kit is best for this application.

What are your thoughts. TIA

what he said^^^ I have the 7lb CTSC AC setup. I love the clutch kit I got from hardtopguy.... came with lighter ap1 flywheel, also good for a SC setup. here is the link:

I couldnt agree more. The HTG kit should be great for your needs.

i wouldnt touch an ACT product with a 10 foot pole

a few years back, there was a big thread over on clubrsx regarding the failure of an ACT PP. the boot straps on the plate gave way. while the reason behind the failure is up for speculation, the one thing that stood out crystal clear was the rep from ACT who came on and basically insulted and badmouthed the owner of the clutch. under no circumstances is that right.

i ran an exedy stage 2 clutch in my turbo accord and it was nothing short of great.

FYI, exedy is owned by Daiken. Daiken makes the OEM clutches for most honda's. ACT kits actually use Daiken clutch discs with their own designed pressure plates. now tell me which one you would want to run in your transmission?

Go with the ACT street i currently have it installed on my s2k, its plenty for the gains you'll get from the supercharger.

I've run my ACT PP for over 20k miles without issue. btw no way you'll get 380whp on 7~8 psi with a comptech kit....more like 310whp or so.

ACT = crank walk

Worth reading into it before you make a decision.

On DSM 2g and they are prone to crankwalk. Not sure about S2000s.
