Sounds like bad tranny.. clutch wouldn't cause it to get stuck in gear.

To the crank walk comment how the hell would a clutch cause crank walk thats just ridiculous.
Dude, it was an 05 and he bought it new in a dealer.. Well, I guess it could have been he's driving...lol

and ACT EXTREME DUTY is the one that can cause crank walk...not the HEAVY DUTY that myself and most other FI owners use. HEAVY DUTY is the one that HTG sells.
I've read that the heavy duty will do it as well (hence one of the reasons inlinepro wont use it)... BUT WHY is everyone arguing with me? I'm only relaying what I've read... Go read for yourselves.

Use the wonderful search feature that has been provided for us... I just used key words and came up with tons of threads on this issue.

I heard bad things about ACT, I went with Competition Clutch, stage 2 clutch, and 11.5lb Flywheel

The point I was trying to make (twice) is that it is misleading to post comments like

"I've read that the heavy duty will do it as well"

"I'm only relaying what I've read"

"I haven't actually used one"

"If you feel like wasting your time enlightening the OP.."

"ACT = crank walk"
If you've read it somewhere it would be helpful to link to it rather than making vague comments.
Even better comment from personal experience
The premise of forums like this is to pass on useful experience and information.
Your were a newbie not so long ago
Cut the OP a break as you guys say.

I was just trying to help. I'm 100% that the OP (and me when I was brand new to this stuff) is competent enough to take bits of what people post and research them more in depth, like I do every time I'm curious about something.

I give up. I'm bored. You win.
