Default ACT pp or OEM pp

I know this topic has been probably beaten to death, but I wanted to know how much stiffer the ACT pp is compared to OEM. Could you compare it to another stock clutch? I do daily drive it and i'm not looking for some calf busting stiffness. Is it worth upgrading while i'm changing out my clutch?. I will be doing OEM disc, ap1 flywheel, CDV delete. My car is a 2007 and mostly stock. I do plan on going hondata down the road for a little more power but nothing crazier than that, thanks in advance.

if you never plan on upping the power OEM is fine. I threw in an ACT Pp because i purchased a S/C kit. I noticed a difference in pedal feel the first day i drove it, and to me within a day, it feels stock again. Its just a little stiffer than stock but nothing to be concerned about for DD'ing the car.

my thought process for a clutch job is $xxx.xx amount of money whether you change just a friction disc or everything, so might as well change it all up. like you said its been beaten to death. Go with what works:

ACT H021 Pp
OEM Disc
OEM AP1 FW (resurface if used)
OEM bearings(Pilot & TO bearing)

and as an extra, get a new throw-out bearing guide.

OEM pressure plate can hold roughly 300-340whp pending driving style and youth of the clutch. Rolling on the throttle you shouldn't have any slip, unless you quick shift and beat it to crap.

Thanks for the input. Any real benefits from purchasing a new ap1 flywheel vs a used one that has been resurfaced?

Cost. The new AP1 flywheel will be more expensive. As long as the used resurfaced flywheel is structurally sound and properly resurfaced you shouldn't have an issue, with proper installation of course

Literally just did thethe all oem pieces and ACT PP last sunday. I cannot describe how perfect this combo feels. Yes it's more expensive but buy a new fly wheel. Its a big job so do it right and do it once. You can always resurface your original and sell it to someone

Again the clutch feels maybe 5% stiffer. And trust me, I have a bad left foot so I can't deal with stiff clutches. IMO it's perfect. Pm if you have any questions
