Default Advice on s2k car cover

With winter coming up, I've debated getting a cover for the car (just got it in May). Unfortunately, I do not have access to a garage and would have to store it outside. I've heard some swear by covers and others say it's best to put on a heavy coat of wax and let the car weather through.

My question is, is investing in a cover worth it, and if so, is there a large difference between the OEM cover on AP1s and AP2s? I currently have a front end conversion to an AP2 but the back is still an AP1. Is there a significant enough difference in dimensions to cause the cover to be too loose? Anyone with experience?

Thanks

No dimensional difference between AP 1 & 2, the OEM cover is ONLY dust proof and not Weather/ Water/ Snow/ Dust. I'd be getting a Covercraft Weathershield S 2000 cover if your car is not garaged. You can buy the accessories that help tie it down in the wind.

Any suggestions for an Indoor cover? My S2K will have the benefit of a nice garage all winter but i would like to keep the dust off it. The OEM one is cool and all with the "s2000" logo but seems about $100 overpriced to other comparable indoor covers. The CoverKing satin stretch seems really nice but, I'm not trying to win a car show with a car cover. Any other brands decent brands out there besides Covercraft and Coverking?

OEM is best by far.

I want to buy a car cover but I cannot find the one that I want.

I want one like my dowco guardian allweather plus that I use on my bikes. Those work awesome...

My friend has one that has taken 3years of socal sun/uv beating. Hose it down and wipe it, still looks new.
