Thumbs up aem intake question!

i noticed on ebay this looks a lot like the aem and injein intake,
and im planning on buying a aemv2 (connected with cupplers) this week end for 140 with out a filter.
so im thinking it might be a knock off with a aem sticker slapped on there to make it
look legit

like this intake on ebay
is there a way to tell if its from aem? special engraving or is it stamped somewhere?
sorry!!! i just dont wana get scamed out money

oh forgot to add that its a local guy thats selling his s2000 aem intake D: sorry!!!

The V2 only comes in the silver color I believe, on top of that the tubing is different than the V1. Also there is a carb sticker. Do you have an image of the intake you will be buying?

I'd consider that price normal for a used V2 w/o filter, specially if it belongs to the first batches were it did not come with the duckbill valve near the filter.

That eBay intake is a replica of the Injen design, no the AEM. The AEM intake has larger diameter lower piping that acts as an air chamber.

That link is to a junk knock off. The AEM only come in grey powder coat and now all have the duck bill valve to replace water if any gets in the tube.

AEMs also come with AEM filter and AEM hose clamps
