Default AEM V2 questions

So im thinking of buying a AEM V2 intake. I was wondering how hard is the install? Ive read that it requires some cutting and taking out parts but can anyone be more specific?

take out the old intake... of course, then you gotta cut the inner fender liner area so the aem intake arm can go through. then you can cut the fake bumper vent, but I know a few people who didn't cut the vent.

Is the vent there for airflow into the intake, if so wouldent it not have as much power like that? The thing im worried about is if I ever want to re-sell the car and put the stock intake on I dont want everthing cut up and damaged.

The only thing you need to cut is the inner liner. It's not even visible if you put back the OEM intake.

helped a friend install an aem v2, cutting is over exaggerated on this forum - you won't need any power tools just make sure you have a really sharp blade. Took us about an hour to install
Re-selling the car is no a big deal, the panels that get cut are cheap to replace.

If you use a dremel on the liner you can get a very nice looking fit. It's only visible from inside the right tire well. I found the lower support bolt to be the hardest part, and that wasn't really that bad honestly.

installing took me about 4 hours. seems like a long time but i made sure i did it right tripple checking all the vacuum lines lol...

but if i had to install it agian it would take me less than 30 mins give or take.
you have to change vacumlines and thats the hardest part. because theres a couple and make sure you dont screw it up.
