Default aemv2 intake?!?!

someone wants to sell me a aemv2 intake for 140 but it needs a new filter,
so is this worth it?

Yes it's worth it. I payed around $250 for my FIPK and have zero regrets.

AEM V2 IMHO is the best bang for your buck when it comes to intakes for our S. All the others offer a lot of flash without the gains..

^yup. Installed mine last week.The only thing I don't like about it is the way it looks(makes the engine bay look empty), but I don't look at my engine bay enough for that to matter.
