Well the aem is prob. the best as far as price vs. hp gain. But the only thing is hydrolock, i am not sure what to do about it. Some say use bypass valve but they take away the power you gain, so it is kinda a win lose stituation.

Completely worth it. Adds a little more response, and the sound of the engine is more aggressive sounding at WOT. Worth the money and time invested.

I like my AEM. Good sound, a little more responsive (not much). I'm not sure if the V2 is worth the extra install hassle, though. The clearances are way tighter than the V1, and there's more cutting involved. I'm happy with my V1.

If you don't have a CAI already, definitely get the V2. It makes some significant improvements in the powerband.

However, if you already have a V1, the extra $$, hassle, etc. are probably not worth it for many people.

(p.s. - AEM did the V2 development on my V1 equipped car)

I'm happy with my V2 not just because of the gains but rather the better gas milage I seem to get from it, but that's my opinion

UL - would you happen to have a plot of a dyno that you've conducted between the V2 vs V1? I tried searching but wasn't able to find one. Thanks.
