Default Affordable intake

So I have been searching around for intakes, I see that most of them are pretty costly for basically a filter and tubing. I was hoping to spend no more than 150 but most are about 300. I was reading around a lot of people seem to get good results from the K and N FIKA setup (i think thats what its called) and i was hoping to get opinions on the best affordable setup. Thanks.

the fipk is the way to go. It sounds good and isnt too expensive. You kind of need to come to realize that the s2000 is a bit more expensive thana civic to modify. The FIPK is not bad though. Good luck deciding.

I would suggest going used. I agree I feel like it's not worth $300 for tubing and an intake.

I'm currently debating whether I want the K&N FIPK for its easy installation, or going with a CAI and paying someone to install it.

I'm assuming you don't really get a bump in hp with the FIPK? It basically looks like an exposed intake filter. It's in the same location as the stock one so I figure the only benefit really is the sound.

I love my AEM v2. Installation is too easy to pay someone for.

Really? I thought you had to do some modifications to get it to fit?

i have heard a lot of things from honda itself that the s2k really loses torque when you put an intake on. Im just going with the C-T Engineering filter, but thats me and how i wana go with autoX, gota stay in A.S.

Don't pay to have any intake installed, far too easy to do it yourself.

And actually, the K&N FIPK is one of the good power makers, intake wise, for our cars.... well, as good of a power maker as an intake can be on our cars.

Yeah, those intakes are made of layered $100 bills. It may seem unnecessary, but it is crucial for ultimate air flow.
