AEM, Fujita, or K&N will be your best bet in that price range. PM Evasive for best prices.

thanks everyone. I'm thinking used is the way to go. And ill just get a new filter. And that CF from bulletproof is 3grand? why not just get a damn S.C?

On that budget I would just gut the stock airbox (search for instructions) and pick up a Spoon knock-off snorkle from eBay. They are about $100 shipped for the fiber glass version (CF is for show).

And that is actually a really good way to go no matter what. The stock airbox is really very good (gutted is better). It only needs a cold air source and the snorkle gives that.

Thow on a K&N filter too and you will see the same gains as the more expensive carbon fiber intakes.

you can also just add the snorkel part of password JDMs new intake to your stock/ modded airbox.
