i gutted my intake box and cut off that extra chamber on the box, sealed it etc, dropped in a K&n filter and it works great.

 

i got my fujita cai for 260 from xlevel. and its in bronze. :]

 

Im going to gut the airbox today after work. I am also shopping around for the cold air extension for my soon to be modded airbox. Thank all for the help.

I bought this intake off of ebay and it has been perfect. It is the same tube design as fujita and AEM but for half the cost. Plus it comes with a genuine K&N filter and everything you need to install it. I think it is stupid to pay $300 for a tube and filter. I painted the upper tube of mine with ceramic black paint.

 

Ebay can offer some great stuff if you know what your looking for. I have spent allot of time there to get more for my car. You get good at recognizing the crap and just get the good deals.

 

I recently bought a brand new AEM version 1 (discontinued) for $130 on ebay.

Oh and I installed it myself and would recommend you do the same. BTW some instructions will tell you to remove the front bumper which is not necessary.
