Aftermarket Diff options?
So I am pretty sure my Diff is gone, the car goes in tomorrow to get looked at. My mechanic is pretty sure it is the Diff from the symptoms.
The car is a 2003, with no mods, and has 42k miles on it. I do drive it hard. Only a few clutch drops, but do get on it from 1st to 2nd. So yes I have abused the Diff a little.
What I am looking for is recommendations on an aftermarket diff for my car. Should I also upgrade my ring and pinon gears when this work is done?
Thanks,
Matthew

I have an 03 with 4.77's and the car is much faster. Get them built up (cryo and puddy mod) so you don't have any more problems. Get the 4.77 if you like to take off fast, and don't do everyday long trips. The 4.56's are thicker and are better if you are going to go with higher hp FI. I feel they 4.77 would be a good fit with a SC, as long as you go with a standard kit. This mod made my car so much more fun to drive. Hope this helps.
