Aftermarket seat replacement covers?
I have searched the internet and s2ki but i am not coming up with much when it comes to replacement seat covers. I know clazzio makes the slip over covers, i've had them and honestly they're not bad but i'm looking for something that will replace the oem. I have some 07 seats i'd like to get redone.
I have found them on leatherseats.com but haven't seen any s2000 reviews.
I found this link here, relating to the ebay seat covers but the fitment looks awfully baggy
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-mo...overs-1172095/
Does anyone know a company that makes a good fitting and looking aftermarket seat cover or know an individual i can send seats off to to be reupholstered?
Any help would be appreciated

I'm curious about the seat fabric construction: Are our "leather" seats just leather-trimmed? Gotta assume the backs are vinyl and I'm guessing the side panels are as well. As noted, just curious.
Replacement of the foam seems to be vital for taut fabric. May get better results at a shop specializing in seat reconstruction even if they use one of the kits as a base. Seems most of the "car restoration" TV shows farm out this work to specialists.

See link. leatherseats.com is a reseller of these seat covers. https://katzkin.com
I am in the same situation. This place did a recover for my ZDX and workmanship is top notch.

I am meeting with the design lady later this month to decide on the colors/type/combination.

I asked around at a few dealers and they all pointed to a local upholstery shop when my front seats wore out in my 04 MDX. It was about $600 for new seat bottoms and they did a nice job.
I would go for a professional upholstery place so the seats look like it came from the factory and not some aftermarket cover. I would probably remove both seats from the S before so they don't accidentally scrape it up. Might even save a buck or two that way.

Anyway, she says the Katzkin covers are excellent, as you've indicated. My problem: So many color combination choices. She has a really good eye and wonderful taste so I am sure with her help I'll find just the right look for the S.

For the OP, any good upholstery shop can redo the seats better than any slip-on. I opted for the Clazzios due to cost, and I love them. Not only do they look great, they were relatively cheap. I was looking at about $1500 to redo the seats from a local shop, and that was keeping the existing vinyl parts intact and just replacing the leather. The Clazzios use only leather in the center (perforated) parts and the side bolsters that hit your thighs and ribs are vinyl... but good quality vinyl. These days, modern vinyl is far better than the 80s vinyl of yore. It's supple enough to not feel like plastic and it stands up better to the harshness of sun, temp swings, etc. The Clazzios also cover up typical driver's seat bolster issues and make it look nicer.
I looked at the Katzkin covers and they were a bit more than locally done custom. If I was going to spend that much, I would have just gone custom.
