Default Aftermarket Steerwheel Question

Ok so Im looking at getting a Personal Steering wheel.

My question is, when I install it, what do you do with your cruise control buttons?

If this is a stupid question im sorry, ive never had anything but an OEM steering wheel.

i have the wheel you are looking at and opted to remove cruse control all together but others have removed the control unit from the oem wheel and mounted it else where(either on the hub or aftermarket wheel). either way its been done. try searching alittle more you should find some more info for sure. good luck!

dail racing. it'll work with a quick release, it stays attached to the quick release which attaches to the hub

I run a personal with a nrg hub and 2.5 quick release.. had to remove the Srs unit to install the hub. I removed cruise control as well because I dont drive on the highway at all. Like someone else said, if you really need cruise control you can just remount the buttons somewhere else.

i just plug the oem unit into the wiring hanress whenever i need to use cruise. otherwise the box with the buttons sits in my glove box.

i've searched for many hours on this subject... so perhaps someone in this thread could help out: i also want to keep cruise control, but i am not sure how it will all connect without actually starting to take the wheel off. to save me some trouble, can anyone describe how the cruise control buttons are connected? this post here mentions a harness... how is this harness connected to the hub?

let me try to be a little clearer: the aftermarket hubs i am familiar with have a ring that makes contact with a pin on the steering wheel shaft for the horn. but what about the cruise control connections?--are they also on some kind of pin?

thanks!
