Hey guys,

I've been looking at the car's pictures with this black diffuser on and I think it would be best to have them painted the same color as the car. I have seen a couple of them in person and you can and can't see them, it depends the angle the car is sitting or parked. Obviously it is underneath the car and less light gets in and having the diffuser in black makes it even harder to notice. At night you won't see it at all. However, if they are painted the same color of the car, I think it will pop a little more, be noticeable and eye catching.

The diffuser idea is a great add-on to the car but I think is more for looks than anything unless your driving at a high speed everywhere you go.

My personal opinion will be to paint the diffuser the same color of your car and make it stand out a little more

I like mine black, i think a red/white/blue diffuser would look silly, unlike the sti because those fins are actually thicker.
UPDATE - Another GRoup Buy is coming soon!

How's the heat management for the diff with this installed? Does air is still being routed for it to cool down?

So we're all drooling over something that hasn't even been described?

I know they're not available for purchase, but GP said he already had one side installed on his car. Figured there may be a pic or at least description of it somewhere. Ah well, we wait

Last I remember, the version he installed was only a prototype which is why we haven't seen any pictures.

We have a design nailed down for the AP1 side pieces, we just haven't made a revision for the AP2 model. It would likely complicate things too far to start selling the AP1 side pieces and then have the AP2 side pieces coming out later. I would prefer to make a single design with 2 sets of mounting holes that would work for both bumpers.

Sorry for the bad pics, but this is what we have for the AP1 side pieces. The ledge that sticks out is a separate piece and can be removed. Forgive the long bolts, I replaced them with button screws the next day.

Sorry for being MIA the last few weeks, been too busy over the summer to work a lot of weekends which is generally when I've been doing the S2K parts. I will be posting a group buy for the brake master cylinder covers tonight, and another rear diffuser group buy will follow in a couple weeks. I still really want to get the full under tray done as soon as possible but its a pretty sizeable under taking so I cannot give a definite completion date.
