anodizing/painting bronze

Default anodizing/painting bronze

do you guys have any ideas for getting my wheels bronze? i called about 20 shops in my area that does anodizing and none will do that color. my last thought would be to paint them at a professional paint shop. anyone have any thoughts?

I would look into threads regarding wheel strength being compromised from powdercoating before doing so.

yah powdercoating really compromises the wheel strength.

i would personally paint them. its a little more economical and you can have them clear coated if you want to keep em shiny

Powdercoating is the way to go.

I've had 2 sets of wheels and know several other people who have had wheels powdercoated with no adverse effects.

Plan on appx. $75-$100 per wheel for powdercoating

The powder coat is heated to 400 degrees after it is applied to get it to "flow". I don't think 400 degrees is going to ruin a wheel.
