if it's going to take too long then i'll cancel it.
otherwise if i put the order in with someone else, i need to find the part number for the rubber foot that sits in the rear bracket of the hard top.
I ordered a radio cover on May 19, no contact for a few weeks so I used google checkout to ask for an update on June 3. Response was that is was shipped via FedEx Home delivery.
That was 2 weeks ago.
No sign of merchandise, no response to follow up emails.
Giving him another few days then starting refund procedures.

I ordered a tct from him on sunday... so he didnt even see it until monday...i got a confirmation but no tracking # but lo and behold it showed up on thursday.. guess it depends on the part ya know
I know have mixed feelings about HTG. Bought a few things from him now most recently a hardtop hardware kit. Placed the order last Thursday and tried to call him but the message said he'd be away until Sunday due to something about his daughter's college. Anyway, I figured he'd ship on Monday. Tried sending him emails to figure out what was going on....nothing. Then today out of nowhere the hardware arrives so I guess he did ship it on Monday.
So as far as shipping speed is concerned, he gets an A+ but the fact that I never got any kind of communication at all even now after I received the part makes me very hesitant to do business with him again. In this case, I didn't have much of a choice since I needed hardtop related equipment and frankly he is the hardtop guy...lol...but not replying to any of your mail is just very bad customer service even if you deliver the goods. Would it really take that much time to hit reply and say "sent" or "looking into it"?
I'm sure if I order from him again, the stuff will arrive perfectly and quickly, but I don't think I'm giving him another penny or else I'm just condoning his behavior. Oh well...other than the super crappy communications he is very much legit but unless it's something only he carries, I'd rather go with HandA.

i had a phone order in and he never responded with if he ever put the order in. i contacted him 3 separate times by phone and he kept giving me the same story that he would check at some later time, whether it was him getting home or he'd call me back after he checked with the honda side. etc etc etc.
ordered from my local dealership and got everything in 3 days. he gave me the run around for 3 months. for the simple fact that any dealership can get any of the stuff he has... just go to a dealership that will be nice enough to go through the catalog with you.

I called in on Friday to HardTopGuy. Gave him my information. He processed the order and shipped on Monday. I called him for the tracking number. He provided it. It is suppose to be arriving today. I had no issues with him. It must really be something to deal with if he actually has certain parts in stock?
EDIT: I got my stuff today. Quick shipping and replies OVER THE PHONE. I didn't order online although Jeff did tell me to when I was inquiring if there were shipping issues over the phone.
